About
The Aktobe Regional Centre for the Study, Restoration and Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage was established on 28 December 1992.
The institution ensures the protection, registration, renovation, restoration and promotion of historical and cultural monuments across the region, as well as the coordination of planning, construction and reconstruction of cities and other settlements.
The Centre cooperates with the Ch. Valikhanov Institute of History and Ethnology (RSCE), the A. Margulan Institute of Archaeology (RSCE), the Kazrestauration State Enterprise, scholars and specialists from universities, museums, archives, local administrations and other interested parties.
